The New HALO® INERT  – Surface Passivated Hardware to Increase Sample Recovery

With the new HALO® INERT, a metal-free barrier between the sample and the column is created to minimize unwanted interactions with the stainless-steel column hardware. Recommended for phosphorylated compounds and analytes that would potentially adsorb to metal surfaces, HALO® INERT shows improved peak shape and recovery compared to uncoated hardware. Don’t leave your sensitive samples behind – trust HALO® INERT to ensure all of your sample makes it to the detector.

HALO® INERT hardware enables better recovery of compounds that adsorb to metal surfaces, such as chelators, phosphorylated compounds, and biomolecules. The graph shows an average of 40% greater area and 40% reduced tailing factor when the surface passivated hardware is used compared to standard stainless steel hardware for hydrocortisone sodium phosphate.
